1458 West Pine Street. Westside Memorials opened in March 1977 in Mount Airy North Carolina Under the ownership of Fletcher Red Joyce. Mr. Joyce had previously worked in the monument industry for years prior to opening Westside Memorials. In Janurary of 1978, Mr. Joyces wife joined the business and in June of that same year their son, Tony, joined the business to handle the art and layout of the monuments.
