Well the ‘motion’ I’ve chosen is: ‘THBT wartime scientific development should be governed by morality’ which, well, isn’t something I necessarily agree with but is shaping up to be a reasonable interesting project. I’m looking at three case studies (the obvious one being The Manhattan Project, others are more recent.). Want to write more, will write more later.

Babysitting for these two lovely girls and they said to me ‘we have seven stories to read! I asked the eldest (7) ‘Are you going to read them to me or am I going to read them to you? She just looked at me as though I was a complete idiot and said ‘Of course you’re going to read to us! We’re just children! I don’t know but I thought that was a particularly excellent response.
