We Want a Rock. I wanted a rock. Shortly after yesterday's picture was taken, the turntable died. Though it has been a great month for music, Fortuna's wheel is whisking my luck away. We want a rock. It's been a great month for music.new records by The Flaming Lips, Raveonettes, Pearl Jam, and Monsters of Folk. Plus I got a new turntable and found TMBG's Flood on vinyl (on which record the namesake of my blog is found.) Spin the black circle. I also got this sweet new toy at Fall Fest. Digsy has a blog.

We Want a Rock. Crisi and I had a fun day in Bell Buckle before we got hitched. Sun Prints, End Result. After several experiments, these turned out the best. I got this cool photographic toy at the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. All you do is expose the paper to the sun with an object or a negative on it, and rinse with cold water after exposure. August 20, 2009. Autour du Monde (with Guest Reviewer Davis). Always on the lookout for a great brunch place close to our apartment, Amanda and I popped by Autour du Monde. One weekend. It was a bit late for brunch, so we wound up being alone in the place with the owner (whose name is sadly escaping me). We chatted him up while enjoying our meal, and left very satisfied. July 4, 2010. Is one of those places that I wish I had opened myself. The idea, menu and set-up are simple, but well placed and well done enough to make it a success. And if you visit during lunch or brunch hours, you'll see what I mean by success. Just look at that biscuit. Looks absolutely delicious, right?
