Gay @ BYU: Not Just For Gays...
http://gayatbyu.blogspot.com/2011/06/not-just-for-straights.html
Monday, June 13, 2011. Not Just For Gays. So, the Tony awards were last night, and surprise! They aren't just for gays anymore:. Plus, one f* king amazing number by Andrew Rannells from 'The Book of Mormon.' (This is one of my favorite songs from the show):. The hotness factor doubled when this amazing thing happened:. And seriously, NPH is my favorite. Just watch this closing rap, and bask in his awesomeness:. I love the Tony's, but they manage to show me exactly why I wish I lived in New York.

Gay @ BYU: Pride 2011
http://gayatbyu.blogspot.com/2011/06/pride-2011.html
Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Pride was basically awesome. I ended up marching in the parade, which was a blast and such a unique and wonderful opportunity. And the weather couldn't have been nicer. I've got a wicked sunburn to prove it. My, how two years can completely change a person. Of course I took tons of pictures. Here are a few. As many of my friends are still students at that Socialist Work Camp known as BYU, I am not posting any personal pictures. June 8, 2011 at 2:06 PM. July 6, 2011 at 1:31 AM.

Gay @ BYU: March 2011

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Why I Love Harry Potter. I just realized something. I have never declared my undying love for Harry Potter on my blog. I can't believe I haven't done it yet. Harry Potter may just be my favorite books of all time (definitely up there with the likes of To Kill a Mockingbird, The Lord of the Rings, The Pillars of the Earth, The Princess Bride, The Help. It still makes me mad at how long I had to wait between EACH AND EVERY book! Certainly sparked my interest in reading. Now, I...

In These Gay Mormon Shoes: PE: The Church's Response to my Letter
http://ingaymormonshoes.blogspot.com/2012/03/pe-churchs-response-to-my-letter.html
PE: The Church's Response to my Letter. I got a letter from the church today. Here is what is read:. I have been asked to acknowledge your recent letter in which you request that your name be removed from the membership records of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In view of the eternal consequences of such an action, the Brethern urge you to reconsider your request and to prayerfully consider the enclosed statement of the First Presidency. Why can't they simply honor my request? Dont play...

In These Gay Mormon Shoes: THT: "Mormons Building Bridges" is bad for the LGBT community
http://ingaymormonshoes.blogspot.com/2012/10/tht-mormons-building-bridges-is-bad-for.html
THT: "Mormons Building Bridges" is bad for the LGBT community. In my last post, I alluded to the fact that certain groups and people who from a distance seem progressive and helpful are actually becoming stumbling block for the LGBT community. I feel that experiences I've had over the past week have justified my speaking more plainly on the matter. Mormons Building Bridges is one of a few that I believe fit this category. I will explain why. First, lets take a look what MBB says it is:. Foul language, th...

In These Gay Mormon Shoes: December 2014
http://ingaymormonshoes.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Winter has always been somewhat trying for me in Utah. I came here from Southern California where Christmas lights and decorations adorn houses shaded by palm trees from the warm California sun. It was not uncommon to be in a t-shirt and sunglasses on Christmas Eve. "Winter" was a thing only seen in the movies, and where winter was, Christmas was also. They were basically conjoined twins in my mind. Captured in August at a dude ranch in remote Wyoming. Captured in Spring 2014 in our yard. On Life and Love.
