So it was going to be easy this year, Jonte decided that an 'ten pin bowling' party would be awesome, but then changed his mind - wouldn't a 'chemistry party' be uber mum . An assortment of cinnamon coated musings {2thousand&9}. Sunday, March 23, 2008. We went for a trip to Depot beach with the Harmers, had a fantastic time, kids playing, over indulging as one does :P. Great to have a break away from the grind. running at the beach seems easier, perhaps the inhalation of sea spray numbs the pain receptors. So I've got a thing about cherries, lovely red jewels bursting with bite - so sue me. you can of course replace these with any fruit - stewed apples, muscat poached pears, raspberries etc. 1 1/2 cup (180g) almond meal. 1/2 cup (75g) self-raising flour. 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. 1/4 tsp almond essence. 200g unsalted butter, melted, cooled. An assortment of cinnamon coated musings {2thousand&9}. Sunday, November 15, 2009. Quick afternoon snack for the kids, puff pastry with a cheese mix, mozzarella, parmesan and cheddar. Finished crusty, gooey cheesy puffs. Saturday, November 14, 2009. Burnt Butter Banana Cake. Mmmm the smell of this cake is intense, the burnt butter. Combined with roasted bananas. Saturate the flavours of a basic tea cake. Will serve it to the minions with caramel sauce and icecream :). Friday, November 13, 2009.
