Listen to the 'musical murmurs' as tributary streams hurry to unite with the river that is my life. Monday, August 31, 2009. He's creative, convivial and kind. And a man of prayer. He's generous, devoted,. Respectful, enthusiastic,. He is wise and wonderful. He's a giver,. He's musical, he's ethical, he's wonderful. Did I say that already? Cooks for me,. And he makes my tea. And he starts my yoga video for me! He's my plumber,. My electrician and mason. He's my roofer, finisher, gardener, and landscaper.

Listen to the 'musical murmurs' as tributary streams hurry to unite with the river that is my life. Sunday, November 21, 2010. Somewhere in southern California on a rare and beautiful day, little Xavi Matteo was born. The sky and the ocean met in one fluid shade of blue and a mild sea breeze could be felt along the shore, gently tugging at the palms. The water lapped the beach . When she felt another gentle tug and a tightness in her tummy, she knew. and then the water. The time had come! Wake up, Grampa!

Listen to the 'musical murmurs' as tributary streams hurry to unite with the river that is my life. Sunday, October 25, 2009. October 25 - Hamburger and Fries Day. Nobody could hold up the line at McDonald's like my brother! Our family would stop there for lunch on our semi-annual trip to Madison. It was only after suffering through our regular dental visits that we were treated to the extravagance of lunch at the new hamburger joint on Park Street. We never ordered our own. We just waited in the car...

Listen to the 'musical murmurs' as tributary streams hurry to unite with the river that is my life. Sunday, October 03, 2010. We enjoyed a wonderful weekend with some of our family. Happily it included our three grandchildren! We went to the zoo, picked out pumpkins at the farm, pet many different animals, had a campfire at night and enjoyed lots of hugs and kisses. Gabriella and Elodie tried out their new halloween jammies. The zoo day was perfect! Grandpa got a kick out it too! Kettle Moraine H.S.

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, October 22, 2005. What is it with dreams, anyway? Have you ever missed an important phone call? Don't you hate it when that happens? Makes you start to wonder if you were supposed. To talk to him, after all. Here's wha...

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, June 25, 2005. Yesterday my husband and I carried out one of our annual traditions. On the opening day of the Taste of Chicago. No matter. You see, tradition is very important. Yes, it's a workout, but I can almost forget about the toil and heat if I keep alert to all that's going on around me: other bikers, fast and slow; joggers of all abilities, all. Sweating; someone at every.

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Saturday, December 31, 2005. My sister sent me pictures of her "last day of the year" project for 2005: cleaning out the narrow closet where she stashes wrapping paper, boxes, ribbons, and a variety of decorations. I can't believe all that stuff was in there to begin with! There, now doesn't that feel good? Posted by Seeker @ 9:00 PM. Links to this post. We're trying to figure him out. ...

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Tuesday, May 31, 2005. One hundred religious persons knit into a unity by careful organizations do not constitute a church any more than eleven dead men make a football team. The first requisite is life, always. The first time I sang in the church choir; two hundred people changed their religion. A hero is born among a hundred, a wise man is found among a thousand, but an accomplished one m...

In the light of eternity. "Life's a tough proposition, and the first hundred years are the hardest." Wilson Mizner. Tuesday, November 29, 2005. I really need to start keeping a notebook and pen on my bedside table, to write down random night thoughts and those fleeting dreams. That sometimes wake me in the night. The details of last night's dream are a bit hazy, but I do know the moral of the story. Written all over her face. How could she be having so much trouble? Posted by Seeker @ 8:44 AM. Hmmmmm....
