Feed the Homeless to the Hungry. Larry: Just how spicy are we getting? Balki: Well, I thought we'd treat ourselves to that old standard, ding ding moch mood. You know it as pig snout with saffron—Perfect Strangers, Season 2. For me, the worst was the disturbing dreams. If I missed just ONE pill, oh boy…I’d wake up scared. The medicine I’m on now (generic Prozac) is MUCH better🙂. Posted by starrzone on April 12, 2012 at 12:49 am. Filed under Depression/Mental Health. Next Entry: Quote of the Day. You are...

Fumbling for Perfection: April 2011
http://fumblingforperfection.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Have no fear of perfection- you'll never reach it." - Salvador Dalí. Monday, April 11, 2011. I was supposed to go to the gym today at lunch. The gym in my office building sucks though. It's slowly falling apart. My motivation to make it there was quickly devoured by a sudden pile of things that landed on my desk around the same time I intended to go, followed by a growly tummy that demanded food. So then I told myself I'd hit the treadmill tonight. I was on my way. Really. Then Stephen. MB's son and BB p...

Almost Canadian: How to speak Canadian: vol. 2
http://almostcanadian.blogspot.com/2011/01/how-to-speak-canadian-vol-2.html
In which I return to Cape Breton, Canada, my home and heart by the sea. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. How to speak Canadian: vol. 2. When I wrote my first volume of "How to speak Canadian,". I figured it would be a while before I compiled enough terminology for a second installment. I was wrong. First of all, we have a cultural food item. It's called poutine. Obviously, this is an acronym for Kraft Dinner, but some Americans are dweebs who need this spelled out for them. Not me, though. ahem. And they are g...

Worst parking job #1 | Feed the Homeless to the Hungry

Feed the Homeless to the Hungry. Larry: Just how spicy are we getting? Balki: Well, I thought we'd treat ourselves to that old standard, ding ding moch mood. You know it as pig snout with saffron—Perfect Strangers, Season 2. Worst parking job #1. I’ve wanted to start a series of posts like this for awhile! There seem to be way too many bad parking jobs around this city. Here’s a great example…in a fairly open parking lot…. Posted by starrzone on October 17, 2012 at 12:36 pm. Just for fun :). Feed the Homeless to the Hungry. Larry: Just how spicy are we getting? Balki: Well, I thought we'd treat ourselves to that old standard, ding ding moch mood. You know it as pig snout with saffron—Perfect Strangers, Season 2. I recently got a raise at work, which was certainly welcomed; I don’t want to give the impression that, in this day and age where so many are having trouble finding full-time jobs, that I am ungrateful. However, when I looked at what my salary is now, I thought…. You are commenting u...

Life Should Be Widescreen. Just another blog on film, mostly. Laquo; Where The Wild Things Are. December 31, 2009. So here it is. Allegedly some ten years in the making and with an estimated budget somewhere in the region of the GDP of several small European nations combined, it’s James Cameron’s. There’s a lot riding on. Has turned out to be quite good, actually. First though, the negative: the story’s not exactly what you might call original. Think of Pocahontas with a sci-fi twist told from ...Someday...

It Is What It Is: It's My Cancerversary
http://cancerfnsucks.blogspot.com/2012/08/happy-cancerversary-to-me.html
It Is What It Is. Saturday, August 11, 2012. Today, one year ago, my life changed forever. I was diagnosed with an aggressive breast cancer and was sure that I was dying. I don't think about breast cancer every day anymore. I don't panic that the aches I do have are a recurrence waiting to happen. I live my life and I thank God every single day that I wake up; it's how I should. Have been living all along. This is my lovely family. My new ring. Eric and the kids gave me a Cancerversary ring. It's...Life ...

Just another WordPress.com site. Why I vanished…. →. January 9, 2012. So yesterday I get a call from my mother. She said she needed a break before going to the hospital and asked if I would be home. She told me that Moe had a bunch of tests before he starts his third round of chemo tomorrow. I waited….she arrived, WITH MOE IN THE PASSENGER SEAT. In my spare time I like to preserve and enjoy nature. My hobbies include plotting the destruction of the people epidemic and floral seductress.
