Who commented that 2013 sounded like a year somewhere in the far away future. I still feel like the '90s were just yesterday. Is this what getting old feels like? Do my parents still feel like the 70's were "just yesterday"? I don't like it. I'd rather be super involved in derby than in work, but work pays the bills, so here I am. Going back to Zumba.

I know people hate on V-Day and I do hate being single on this mushy holiday, but I also am a very nostalgic person and like giving those little valentines to my friends at work. There's something fun about taking a day to do something a little extra for those you love, be they significant other, family, or friend. I am teaching all new things, but 75% of my students are the same, so I don't really have the feeling of having had a summer off. I feel like, didn't I just see you yesterday? Enough boring stuff. I’d say we’re in limbo again, but I’m ever so slowly realizing that adulthood is anything but stable and always in limbo. Becoming a responsible adult is the easy part; the hard part is managing constant change and uncertainty. There will never be employment that is a sure thing for life, and I don’t know why I was always working towards that, anyway. Wouldn’t that be dull? You DON’T want a nap! I just didn’t expect this.
