How about Bob the Builder? Oh dear, sometimes I almost have to shut my eyes in order to be able to say no.). And the strangest thing of all is when I say no and he says happily, "Okay, great! 4 GUYS and A LADY. Life with Down syndrome: recognize the similarities; celebrate the differences. Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Said Wade this morning. But we kept his afternoon ENT appointment anyway because, with Wade, it can be difficult to tell the difference between fantastical and sick. And so his brothers prayed faithfully every evening for Wade's ear to heal. And I prayed without faith (or ceased praying) because I knew it seemed very unlikely that it would heal. In addition, Wade appears to be f...

Our great adventure of raising our daughter with Down Syndrome has just begun. Can't wait to experience all the joy and love she will bring this world! Friday, June 12, 2015. We used to have a side by side Rzr before Maddie was born, and the two older kids rode 4 wheelers when we went camping. We sold it shortly after she was born, as we needed more room. Just recently Ry decided it was time to get a 4 seater. She was not liking it at first, I think the noise scared her. Hanging out with Grandpa. We went...

I know I am so creative with my titles. But it's all about the pictures, right? She is getting better standing without having to lean on something. Trying to crawl up into her walker. Her latest trick is getting into the bathroom, turning on the water and playing in it. We now have to keep all bathroom doors closed! Oh yes it was!

4 GUYS & A LADY: New Methods Required
http://4-guys.blogspot.com/2013/10/new-methods-required.html
4 GUYS and A LADY. Life with Down syndrome: recognize the similarities; celebrate the differences. Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Memory verses at school are a stretch for Wade. The first few weeks were good because the verses were short. At school, the children say the verse every time they are dismissed for break (what a wonderful practice! The memory work is floundering. Wade will start out saying this week's verse and then revert to a previous verse, especially if it has similar wording. A Different Ki...

http://crossler.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html

Then either yesterday at breakfast, or at dinner the night before (my memory is failing me at the moment), I had to say to Aidan:. Links to this post.

Garden of My Heart. Taking up my spade and breaking ground. April 28, 2015. It’s the sound of my balloon bursting. Until now, we have had an amicable relationship with our school district. We felt very in sync with their suggestions for Rowenna, and we loved her placements for the last two years. We know many children who have various diagnoses, and many of them did an extra year of preschool before entering kindergarten at age 6. The law in my state also allows for children to begin school at age 6.
