I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I did! 4 hours and 10 minutes. 3 lb beef chuck roast, or another cheap cut of beef. 1-2 TBSP. of butter. Season all side...

A YYJ Foodie's Show and Tell. My name is Carly and I. Everything food – always have. I love cooking, eating, scoping out food blogs to add recipes to my ever expanding Pinterest food board, dining out, Instagramming my food pictures, and watching the Food Network. Growing up, I watched the Food Network in the morning and after school – no cartoons for this girl. I loved (and still do! Watching Michael Smith, Ina Garten, Gordon Ramsay, and Giada De Laurentiis (just to name a few! I am always that awkward ...

A YYJ Foodie's Show and Tell. March 30, 2016. March 30, 2016. Time to whip out my favorite kitchen object – the classic, the amazing, the cast iron pan! I honestly don’t know what I would do without my cast iron pan. This recipe simply showcases the handy-dandy-ness (yes, that’s a word? Of a cast iron by being able to go from the stove top to the oven and back out again. I made this recipe for James and I for Sunday breakfast and it was perfect! Anywho, I hope you enjoy this lovely breakfast recipe!

Musings on cooking, dining, and food shopping. National Ice Cream Sundae Day. November 11, 2016. November 11, 2016. Sundaes in one sitting. I had no favorites because I would eat anything. It’s because of Blue Laws which said that ice cream sodas could not be sold on Sundays because they were frilly. Musings on cooking, dining, and food shopping. October 28: National Chocolate Day. My love affair with chocolate began when I was less than a year old. Both my parents are chocolate lovers and have passed on their sweet tooth. I’ve been known to use Hershey’s bars to draw on the crib (that’s when cribs were still made of wood). I’ve never been able to resist chocolate and…. Salt: The Supreme Seasoning. 8220;Where would we be without salt? Za’atar, Advieh, Baha-what? March 1, 2017. More Moo Juice, Please?

Musings on cooking, dining, and food shopping. November 4: National Candy Day. November 4, 2016. Where did candy come from? In the late 13. Century, the word candy came into use. The origin of the word came from the Old French. Which was derived from the Persian. Candy came to the United States in the 18. No one really knows who started National Candy Day but I have my suspects. A more interesting question to ask is why? What are some ways that we can share this sugary happiness? Musings on cooking, dining, and food shopping. Happy Peking Duck Day! Today we celebrate one of my favorite dishes. It’s a dish I equate with celebrations because when my family had birthdays and other occasions in a Chinese restaurant, Peking Duck is usually one of the things we order. Musings on cooking, dining, and food shopping. Lucky Foods for New Year’s Day. New Year’s Eve was one of the holidays I looked forward to when I living in the Philippines. what carly did
Today was the day I caught up on my sleep. I wasn't feeling well and I think it has been all the planes, trains and car rides through the French mountains, along with jet lag, along with constantly being on the go with 5 hours (or less) sleep each night. I didn't wake up until quite late and then took a nap this afternoon. It was much needed. Tonight we did travel about an hour to the town of Rodez. To go cheer on Team Japan in the FIBA tournament. Wednesday, 20 July 2011. I love gmail. I think it's a great email client. I wish that my gmail and my me account would have little babies and make the perfect system. But do you know what's wrong with gmail (or at least the thing that's bugging me at the moment) is the tab button. Tab is an important key! Why make it like other bloody websites *cough* blogspot *cough* where you can't use the bloody tab key? I've looked through the settings.there's no options. GOOGLE SORT IT OUT! There must be some kind of way out of here. Lunes, marzo 24, 2014.
