This is all I've got. Tuesday, March 27, 2012. He is laughing and talking all the time. He loves Sean and wants to be able to see him from wherever he is. This has become an issue when Joshua is eating, he only wants to eat enough to take away the hunger pains, then he wants to watch Sean. He is so easily distracted. This is all I've got. Monday, March 22, 2010. Yesterday our church had a baby dedication service for Sean. I have witnessed a lot of these over the years in my Baptist upbringing. I always enjoyed watching the babies and the parents, and always felt bad for the parents of the super fussy baby who just won't be consoled at this most inopportune moment. This is all I've got. Thursday, March 1, 2012. I have not been sleeping. I don't function well without my sleep. When Sean was a newborn I napped while he napped. When Joshua was a newborn I didn't sleep at night and i didn't sleep during the day which made me exhausted and irritable. This is all I've got. Tuesday, July 20, 2010. It's been a while since I have updated the blog, so here goes. Sean did really well on the 6 hour drive there and back. He is such a good traveller. We left super early in the morning going there, and I think that helped. I swore I would never do that to my kids when I was younger. I always hated when my dad would say we were leaving at 6 or 7 in the morning. I guess I ate those words. I think that about sums it up :). Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

This is all I've got. Thursday, May 19, 2011. The doctor told us it was something called encephalocele. This is. We are praying desperately for a miracle, but we also know that God is knitting this baby perfectly together in my womb and he specifically chose us as his parents. We know that God is compassionate and hears our prayers, and has mercy on us in times of suffering. This doesn't necessarily mean that he will take away the suffering, but He won't let us go through this alone. We pray for blessings.

This is all I've got. Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Our East Coast Road Trip. On Sunday night around midnight Austin and I returned from a 10 day road-trip up the east coast. My parents rented a house in Maine for a week and invited us to come join them, and we decided to visit some friends along the way. One of our favorite things was walking around the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial late Saturday night. We had great conversation and the memorials were really beautiful at night.
