A very long ride to Chillicothe. I wouldn't be a very good. Not enough time at home makes my head spin. You spin me right 'round baby right 'round". After this trip,. I'm taking a long nap. Oh yeah, it's Halloween! Gracie is Dorothy this year. And Davis is wearing a kilt. Ana made the costumes herself. Should I shower tonight.

Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Wednesday, August 31, 2005. A mixture of feelings. She was only a few miles from our apartment in Baton Rouge. A doctor friend of hers has a huge truck and offered the ride out through the water. Everybody at the hospital was told to leave if they could find a way because the water is still rising. Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Friday, September 30, 2005. I woke up this morning feeling pretty good. This was, in part, due to the fact that it's Friday. It's also because the high for today is only going to be 87. I can't even begin to tell you how draining the extremely hot weather can be. I'm glad that cooler months are on the way. I'm trying to grow the client base, so that means networking.going out.trying to be nice to people.blah. :) heh. What else to say? Then, you know w...

Sink or Swim: January 2006

Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Wednesday, January 25, 2006. Occasionally, when working with people, I hit a place where I feel "stuck". Today, as I was looking for inspiration in a book we studied in our masters program, I came across a thought provoking quote. Experience is not what happens to a man. It is what a man does with what happens to him.". What a great reminder that we have the potential to rise above our circumstances, whatever they may be. Thursday, January 19, 2006.

Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Friday, February 24, 2006. Friday is finally here! I had been dreading this week because I had a little speaking thing to do yesterday. Why I still get so nervous is beyond me. I guess it's the good kind of nervous though.the kind that gets you excited and keeps you on your feet. I had to do a 45 minute presentation to a group of parents. Wanna know a gross secret? I think so. Maybe too much information. :). What does the weekend have in store? A coup...

Sink or Swim: June 2005
http://youcanstarthere.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Thursday, June 30, 2005. What does "I'm sorry" mean? What actions have to come along with "I'm sorry"? I've decided to visit those places of hurt that I've inflicted on other people. I'm not saying I'm going to go roll around in pain and relish in the hurt. But I'm not going to run away from it either. I have to let myself feel.and feel unselfishly. Only then will I truly be able to say that I'm sorry and mean it. Posted by S. Coleman @ 11:24 AM.

Finally, a place to call home. "Ad astra per aspera". Wednesday, March 29, 2006. Moods They're so weird sometimes. I seem to go through phases where I'm just fine and happy and not so anxious.and then I hit a rough spot and suddenly I'm a little ball of worries. What is that? One thing I especially fear is death. I know I shouldn't. I feel assured of what will come after death.but sometimes just the fear that "what if I'm wrong" or "what if you're just all alone and it's the most scary thing? So, I guess...
