My Life on the Lake: I'm not ANYBODY
http://mylifeonthelake-georgiagirl.blogspot.com/2013/01/im-not-anybody.html
My Life on the Lake. Simple thoughts and observations from a simple girl with lots of big ideas. Nothing to Say, But Can't Shut Up. That's what I thought I should call my blog! What I write here might not mean a thing to you and I'm pretty o.k. with that. However, I have an active mind and like to sort things out out loud, so to speak. I also like to have deep conversations so feel free to jump in and comment. I'm glad you showed up and took the time to read. Wednesday, January 9, 2013. Now, one more sto...

The Ethereal Artist: True Summer Sci/Art Draping
http://theetherealartist.blogspot.com/2013/02/i-was-draped-in-sciart-by-maytee-garza.html
Sunday, February 24, 2013. True Summer Sci/Art Draping. I have been reading and re-reading the book, "Return to Your Natural Colors" by Christine Scaman and have been shocked at how uncanny the True Summer personality is to my own. Even down to keeping my nails long and painted every day of my life since I was 12. Christine, are you hiding out somewhere in my home? It sure does seem like it! Snapshots of Our Life: Europe, it's been too long!
http://jachsnapshots.blogspot.com/2015/07/europe-it-been-too-long.html
Snapshots of Our Life. Thursday, July 2, 2015. Europe, its been too long! In December, John and I will have been married 20 years. As an early celebration (this won't jinx it, will it? We are taking a trip to Germany, Switzerland, and Italy this summer. No kids! As a teacher, I took groups of students on exchange trips to Germany every summer. The last trip I took was while I was pregnant with Campbell, 15 years ago. That is way too long. But absence makes the heart grow fonder, right? Backroads, Day 5.

Snapshots of Our Life: Prost!
http://jachsnapshots.blogspot.com/2015/07/prost.html
Snapshots of Our Life. Wednesday, July 8, 2015. I also got a plate of curry wurst and pommes, one of my favorite snack foods in Germany. After our break, we took another train and a subway to our hotel. It's called Motel One, and I chose it for its reasonable price and central location. It also happens to be a very nice hotel, and the breakfast this morning was delicious! That's the view from our window. And here's the room (with my luggage all over the bed), small but comfortable:. Backroads, Day 5.

Snapshots of Our Life: Backroads, Day 5
http://jachsnapshots.blogspot.com/2015/07/backroads-day-5.html
Snapshots of Our Life. Friday, July 17, 2015. Backroads, Day 5. Last full day of the trip! Huge bell peppers at a produce stand in Radda:. Fabrizio hosted us in his shop this morning for a balsamic vinegar tasting - one on cheese and one very special (and expensive) variety on gelato with strawberries. Nancy borrowed John's hat, so then she matched her boyfriend Michael. So cute! Tuscan hills (and Tuscan sun beating down on us! Someone's garden with a "vin box":. Where a beautiful picnic awaited us!

The Ethereal Artist: Growing out the Gray
http://theetherealartist.blogspot.com/2013/04/growing-out-gray.html
Thursday, April 18, 2013. Growing out the Gray. Even though my natural hair color is a level 6 ash brown, no matter what the hairdressers use it starts to turn slightly golden. Definitely not my best look! You ladies know what I'm talking about. The constant vigilance and fight to keep the cool blonde cool. It's just exhausting. April 19, 2013 at 5:06 AM. I think grey hair is wonderful, and am always thrilled when I hear of women embracing their natural colour. Im sure it will look amazing on you! I am t...
