My Journey Through EDTS 325. April 4, 2015. At the beginning of EDTS 325, I will admit I was not excited. I was going into a class about technology with no experience at all. Even though I have grown up around technology most of my life, I would not call myself computer-savvy. I even have trouble turning on some television sets! Friday, September 23, 2011. St Lawrence's Tears, aka Perseid Meteor Shower. The Perseids occur when the Earth's orbit crosses the path of debris thrown off by Comet Swift-Tuttle. The annual Perseid meteor shower usually peaks around August 12th. As the cosmic debris, many pieces as small as a grain of sand, enters the atmosphere, it burns up in a flash, appearing as "shooting stars" across the sky. (That much I already knew.).
