With Her Nose Stuck in a Book. Thursday, June 11, 2015. Graduation Day, Joelle Charbonneau. The 3rd and final book in the Testing Trilogy. It was pretty good, but after having read such livid dialog in the Unwind series, I felt like Cia's voice was a little flat. Or maybe she's just been through so much it became that way. The BIGGEST thing that this book does is make you question 2 things. 1: do the ends justify the means, even if the means are against everything you believe in (for the most part)?

With Her Nose Stuck in a Book. Monday, August 3, 2015. Still Alice, Lisa Genova. This was an amazing read! A friend recommended it to me, warned me it was sad, but said it was really good. She did not lie on any account! The author is writing another book (it might already be out) called Love, Anthony which had 2 sneak peak chapters at the end of the Alice book that strongly points to a parent living with a severely autistic child which I am incredibly interested to read! I highly recommend this book!

With Her Nose Stuck in a Book. Wednesday, October 29, 2014. The Prophet of Yonwood, Jeanne DuPrau. The 3rd Book of Ember. To be honest, I was not as crazy about this book as I was about the other two. Props to the author for making her narrators, Nickie and Grover quite different in feel to Lina and Doon, although the characters do have some paralells (Nickie and Lina both are VERY curious people and quite concerned with being able to know right from wrong). Were there many God's? Was there a "right" God?

What I'm Really Thinking Of. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Getting through that awkward length. I have found that many women dread the medium-length stage of growing their hair out, a.k.a. "the awkward length". Honestly, who can blame them? It's not short enough to style the way you used to and it's not the length to have a waterfall of a ponytail draping down your back. I love shorter, mid-length hair, and I can genuinely say that there are things to love about that "awkward" length! Your roots need love!
