What does being "black" mean? Is it the shoes I wear? Is it the way I wear my hair? Could it be the way I walk or the way I talk? What if I'm "high yella"? Is it the color of my significant other? Could it be the kind of clothes I wear or the way I wear them? What about the food I eat? Maybe it's where I live. Do I have to be chronic? Or is it the kind of cigarettes I smoke? Do I have to have a certain attitude? Do I have to call you "nigga"? Cuz that's a terrible word. Maybe it's the way I dance.
