After years of picking it up off of the carpet (curse you carpeted dining rooms! And throwing away dried out containers of different playdough colors mixed together I stopped buying it. Sunday, January 8, 2017. Week 388 Menu: Looking Back. I actually planned my menu for this past week by writing in on my menu board in the kitchen. I kept waiting for a "Monday" to happen, you know the day when everyone goes back to work and school and life becomes normal. It never happened and so my menu posting didn't happen either. School is already cancelled for tomorrow. I'm excited to get out wall paint and finish up some of our upstairs remodel without having to run errands or schlep kids around.

Thursday, February 16, 2012. Macaroni Grill Rosemary Bread. I love to eat at Macaroni Grill! We used to eat there back in the day when we lived in the big city (Salt Lake City). We usually downed a few loaves of their rosemary bread while waiting for our food to arrive. It's really delicious dipped in olive oil, balsamic vinegar and freshly cracked black pepper. I tried this recipe for the first time for dinner last night. It was gone in a flash! Recipe from Sisters' Cafe. And all over on the internet.

So he has a cast and of course wanted hot pink! He dressed for his last football game against Moab, but didn't play. He got to run the clock and thought that was fun. A dash of flavour. Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Marsala and Mushroom Pork Cutlets with Creamy Polenta. Two in a row - this is getting exciting and I am feeling how I used to when my blogging was more frequent. Tonight's meal is an Italian inspired dish - pork in nice rich and creamy mushroom sauce accompanied by creamy and a little cheesy polenta. The original recipe called for Veal Cutlets but I quite fancied it with pork instead. And as with any polenta dish you are guaranteed a good arm workout LOL!

Normally our Roast Chicken is very traditional - being a Classic Roast Chicken with Sage and Onion Stuffing. Perfect Roast Chicken with Lemon, Fresh Herbs and Veg - it was decided! That's how are chicken would be sacrificed tonight - well a few tweaks here and there - but it was sorted. ProPoints per Serve: 12.

Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Week 326 Menu: Normal food for my family and no cholesterol for me. I've been struggling planning my menus the last few weeks. I have been trying to eat no dairy, meat, processed foods and being careful with saturated fat, etc with hopes to naturally lower my cholesterol. Basically I've been eating a lot of veggies (from my garden.yay! Hummus, oatmeal with almond milk, quinoa, and handfuls of almonds. (I've been posting a few pictures on instagram. Monday, January 9, 2017. Week 389 Menu: 2nd Week of January. Today was another snow day. We didn't get any new snow, but it was mostly to let the snow plows try to clear the roads and parking lots so eventually the kids can go to school. Hopefully they'll go sooner than later. :). I've spent the day helping kids arrange playdates, get into and out of their snow clothes, making pepperoni bread. For lunch and doing a little painting on our landing and hall upstairs.
