February 17, 2014. Ben's been away for a week now and staying busy helps the time go a little faster. May 22, 2015. In search of an easy way to return to blogging, I remembered about Five Minute Friday. So here we go-the word is rise. Immediately I think of the new schedule I've been adjusting to since I went back to work in January. Rise to me means 4:00 am alarm clocks, sleep-deprived pumping session and getting ready while Ben and Carson snooze. Leaving for work at 6:00 am takes a lot of planning and self-motivation. Not things I always exemplify. But it's been good to have a structure. Life: à la mode.

November 2, 2013. Fall in the PNW. We've spent the past couple of weeks enjoying the beautiful fall in Seattle, getting out with Della and a fun weekend in the city for my birthday. Ben planned a weekend in Seattle for my birthday this year. We took the train into the city, got a room at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel. Visited the Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum. April 30, 2014. We were lucky enough to get back to the Midwest over Easter weekend to visit both sides of our family and lots of friends we haven't seen for a long time. My mom and I with some of my aunts and great-aunt and uncle on my mom's side. Smallest gathering of Goodhart cousins.ever I'm sure : ). We were able to visit my Grandma in the nursing home. She doesn't love having her picture taken : ). Ben's sister-in-law is pregnant too and due about a month after us-all of the Chandler grandchildren!
