I got some really great ceramic frames by xenia taler recentlly- to carry on with my xenia taler theme of the month now! I have about a gazillion more i want to make now too! Today i have a few more felty objets to show off here, in keeping with my feltaholic week. i made some more felt yesterday which i am planning to sew into another little pouch, and i made a new bracelet from the red beads. i’m out of fibre and almost out of soap though so i have to nip over to the knit cafe. What Kate is Cooking…Today. An alternative to takeout! May 18, 2014. Delicious mussels served with crunchy french bread. Mussels are a wonderful meal to serve on a Sunday evening. Not only are they easy, just one pot, but you can invite family and friends over for something very special. 5 lbs of mussels. 3/4 t saffron threads. 4 T unsalted butter. 4 T good olive oil. 3/4 cup chopped shallots. 3/4 cup chopped onions. 3 T cup minced garlic. 8 oz diced tomatoes, drained. 3 T thyme leaves. 3 T kosher salt.
