what Katy prints...

Tuesday, 11 October 2011. Well I managed to leave Bristol twice last week, firstly for a very fleeting visit to London. While there I couldn't resist popping into Liberty's new stationery department. Gorgeous and well worth a visit. I was very proud to see my creations nestled among other lovely works. Geometry design, leaf motif behind and ginkgo just visible at the back. I've gone top shelf! Friday, 30 September 2011. Hot off the press. Limited edition of 20, paper size 20 x 28 cm and just £35. It's on...

what Katy prints...: April 2011

http://www.whatkatyprints.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html

Friday, 1 April 2011. I just had to post a picture of my beautiful new walnut chopping boards, a hand made birthday gift from my brother, Joe. They are truly beautiful and are currently sitting on my kitchen table, again made by Joe. His company is called Whitewood carpentry and you can see more of his stunning work at www.whitewoodcarpentry.co.uk. After four hours of spring sunshine, visual overload and some pathetic attempts at haggling , I just came away with a few little treasures. I am based in Bris...

what Katy prints...: 'appley married'!

http://www.whatkatyprints.blogspot.com/2011/09/appley-married.html

Monday, 12 September 2011. Some friends of mine got married earlier this year. They wanted an original print edition to give as gifts to all the lovely people that helped make their day so special. The wedding was at Barley Wood Walled Garden. Also run by friends, and as the marquee was surrounded by orchards there was an apple theme to the day. It was a pleasure to get such a lovely commission and I was pretty pleased with my punderful title. I hope everyone that received one liked it too.

What Katy Drank | Cocktails, champagne, wine… whatever your tipple, make it a large one

Cocktails, champagne, wine… whatever your tipple, make it a large one. 10 Champagne…er, yes please! So, you know the saying ‘Champagne tastes on a beer budget’? Well, that could have been written for me. I am always skint. And I am always looking longingly towards to bottles of Champagne that line the shelves of even the most down-market of shops, never able to justify spending ALL THAT on ONE bottle of good stuff. However, the game might just have changed. Continue reading →. Candy is dandy…. I can&#821...

What Katy Louise Did

What Katy Louise Did. Championing health, wealth and happiness. What Katy Louise Did. View my complete profile. Saturday, 11 July 2015. Why is it easier to believe the bad stuff? Why is it, that it's often easier to be negative about ourselves than it is to be positive? The reason I got to thinking about this was from a chat I had with my deputy editor a few weeks ago as I sat composing cover lines for the latest issue of Top Santé. Or 'blitz cellulite tonight! What Katy Loved

Thursday, 8 August 2013. Another beautiful day in Cornwall! And being forced into staying at home to wait for a wedding gift delivery from Abe's Grandad Robin, has given me the perfect opportunity to sit and write. And I have needed this self-therapy for a few weeks. Will this change anything? At first, I thought "Not a lot, no.". Then I thought "Perhaps a little, yes.". Actually, this changes quite a lot.". A gust of wind has blown that door right open! Leaving the little girl, who loved climbing trees,...

I’ve been missing the LOST community, and indeed that whole experience a lot of late. There’s been nothing like it since, and, I think it’ll be sometime before we see anything like it again. All I can say is, I’m glad to have been there at all. What have I been up to? And I’m really rather happy. Which is nice! Will I ever podcast again? All the best, and back soon,. There...
