Sunday, May 29, 2011. I've been very slack on the blogging front lately. Sometimes life takes so much effort, there's no energy left over for blogging about it. Life has been extra busy with jazz ballet, giving history talks here and there, school working bees, friends coming to play. All good stuff. Time to queue for seconds. Our girls had watched "The Sound of Music" for the first time the night before so my big girl fetched her pop-up "Sound of Music" book to show her friends. Moving on to other games.

Friday, July 22, 2011. Three days after our girl came home from hospital, she turned 5! We were so grateful to be home and be able to celebrate together. As with all good birthdays, the celebrations spread out over a week or so. (The photos are out of order sorry as I was a bit disorganised uploading them). Some special friends organised a little private birthday party with some sand art. We all did some and I have to say, it was great therapy for Mum and Dad! And iced by the girls). Seeing how my garden...

Tuesday, January 17, 2012. While Scott was on holidays we just relaxed and did simple things. We went to beautiful Shorncliffe once or twice and let the girls run around like crazy things on the mudflats and fly their kites. It's nearly always incredibly windy at Shorncliffe so perfect for flying kites. All you have to do is hold the string and stand still and away they go. Best wishes to all my bloggy friends for a lovely year in 2012. May life bring you many many happy moments. Scenes from family life.

Tuesday, July 31, 2012. I have got some weird errors happening with my blog and have been unable to get into it to do anything for weeks. It seems to behave better accessing it via Firefox than Internet Explorer but I've no idea why that would be. Anyway.I finally managed to find my way in and found that I had 5 comments awaiting moderation. Hmmmm! I once spent 2 days watching all the vids on a few freezing days in Canberra with my Mum - Oh Ross and Demelza! DId you know there is an Poldark Society?
