What's for dinner? Taking care of yourself…. December 24, 2015. My mother’s motto was “Love yourself.” It wasn’t until I was older that I understood what that meant. It isn’t about pampering yourself, either. It’s getting to know yourself. It’s making sure that you know what you like and don’t like. Because in the end, if you don’t know these things, you don’t know what to fight for. Taking care of yourself…. Review: Up Move and Up24 Fitness Trackers. December 21, 2015. December 21, 2015. So lately, I...
Anniversary surprises! – What's for dinner?
https://whatsfordinnermonkey.wordpress.com/2015/07/19/anniversary-surprises
What's for dinner? July 19, 2015. Okay, I know that I missed last Sunday’s blog post, but as usual, my professors enjoy making major things due by Monday. Because some of us students don’t have jobs and families to take care of… but I really can’t say much because I’ve got both of those every day of the week. So I’m taking a study break to make up for it. Next Sunday marks the anniversary of one Bear taking one Monkey into holy matrimony. Or is it the other way around? I have a Samsung NX Mini! Aside fro...

What’s so bad about sugar, Monkey? Aside from t...

What's for dinner? No dinner for too long. July 3, 2015. Hey y’all, it’s been a long time but I wanted to update what’s been going on. I made it through my very first quarter and got…. Super excited. Can you feel the excitement through your computer screen? I also went through my “hell week” otherwise none as my husband’s annual training event in which I cook for 200 vendors, soldiers, law enforcement, and federal agents. And they LOVED it. All week, all food. I’ll let you in on a second secret....
I’m almost there. – What's for dinner?
https://whatsfordinnermonkey.wordpress.com/2015/06/05/im-almost-there
What's for dinner? I’m almost there. June 5, 2015. It’s been forever since I’ve blogged and I’ve done that on purpose. Mostly. There were times where I was tempted to jump on my computer and tell the world what I was up to, but I decided one great big word vomit session is all I really needed. It’s a busy life. Considering today is my 34th birthday, I believe I will step outside and enjoy myself. (Without feeling cheesy because all of today I thought I was 35.). I’m almost there. Enter your comment here.

For the past couple of years, she has had mashed potato duty from start to finish. I bought a very pricey but very quick mashing tool that makes the whole process a snap.
