Hey Linda, What's for Supper? Here is my attempt to inspire you to try some of my recipes. Enjoy! Sunday, June 21, 2009. It's father's day. John is a good father to our flock of four 1, and he deserves a special dinner. I wanted to have a cook-out, but there were a two things stopping me - the oppressive heat and the fact that I DON'T GRILL. So I improvised. These recipes are a little bit made up, a little bit adopted, a little bit inspired by something tasty I had somewhere. Savory Sweet Potato Salad.

Missy L, a co-worker of mine, makes her famous buffalo dip whenever she can. I had never tried it because she makes it with blue cheese, which I do not like. But I adapted it to my tastes by using ranch dressing, and it was dee-lish! Missy L's Buffalo Chicken Dip. 2 8-oz packages of low-fat cream cheese, softened. 1 whole rotisserie chicken.

It a one-pot meal with very little prep. And it tastes really yummy :). 2-3 lbs of chicken legs. 3 tbsp olive oil. 1 large yellow onion, sliced. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 lb package yellow rice. 1 can pigeon peas, drained. 1 can diced tomatoes (I used Ro-Tel Mexican Lime and Cilantro). 4 cups chicken broth.
