Monday, April 21, 2008. This past weekend was the Junior Senior Banquet. the big end of year event when the grade 11's put on this event for the senior class. The theme this year was "Moonlit Masquerade" so we all got to wear masks. Wendi Julia and I actually got to wear the real thing from Venice! We bought masks there this summer, so it was fun to actually get to wear them for an event! Monday, April 14, 2008. An amazing time in Bali. Can you get a more perfect holiday! So, watch this space soon. ).

Sunday, September 28, 2008. Thought it was about time I updated this blog! It has been a busy week at school this past week. We had what's called SEW - "Spiritual Emphasis Week". We had a big African American guest speaker come to our school from the States who spoke in the chapels and Tues, Wed, Thurs evenings. He was amazing, and the kids (as well as staff) were very blessed! I'm really enjoying having Jasmane here (some of you reading this know who she is) - it's like having a bit of family here!

Saturday, November 15, 2008. I had a lovely visit with mom and dad - they were here for about ten days, and we were able to take a short trip to Langkawi for the long weekend. (Pics posted soon! Dad then went onto South Africa, and mom and I had a lovely weekend together. Shopped a bit, went to the E&O hotel for high tea. a pre-celebration for mom's birthday! Monday, February 09, 2009. Good times with good friends. I keep thinking of how so blessed I am here in Malaysia to be surrounded by wonderful friends. Never want to take that for granted. Here are some pics from the weekend. We had a braai/bbq at Jasmane's place with a little swim while the meat was cookin'! Lana, me and Annami(with little Daniel). JUST found your blog again when i had to switch browsers. I've been searching and searching! Had horrible computer crash and lost address book.

Saturday, December 27, 2008. My first Christmas in Malaysia. no snow, no fireplace, but still a fabulous time! I spent Christmas day with some good friends here. We had way too much to eat, (as you do.) played games, and had some good fellowship with each other. Boxing day came, and worked off all those extra calories by helping Jasmane move house! Today we did some more moving, and unpacking. it was fun - amazing what a few women together can accomplish in only a few hours! Really looking forward to it!

Dalat's Groovin' Grade 4's. Thursday, May 1, 2008. Yesterday was my birthday! My birthday was in May 1st. On Wednesday, I had a birthday party. It was really fun! My mom and my friend's mom help me to make the water balloons. The boys wanted to get all of the balloons but the girls hid it really carefully. The boys can't find it.
