What's New with the Newbolds. Thursday, January 17, 2013. Let me just preface these pictures by saying that Christmas vacation can be indeed miserable when you are passing around the flu. I guess if you have to be miserable, be miserable in good company? Needless to say, we still managed to make long lasting memories, some we'll likely wish we could forget, but lots that will make us smile and laugh out loud for years to come. Lisa's birthday dinner on Christmas Eve. Will anxiously awaiting his dinner.

July 3, 2015. It's been a busy summer to say the least. We rented an RV to kick off the summer, and set to exploring places we hadn't seen up north in Alaska. Talkeetna, Denali, Fairbanks, and North Pole. Throwing rocks in the Susitna River at the end of town, with views of Mt Denali. Mommy I found a rock for my collection. 6 1/2 hour shuttle tour. Dall sheep close up! Back on the road. 2 am, still light. River cruise on a paddleboat. Musher's sled dog kennel. 4th of July weekend. Me: What did you find?

March 30, 2014. 9 day vaca, with only one day not jam-packed! Our kind of fun! 1st stop: St. Augustine Florida, the oldest inhabited city in America. Next stop: Kennedy Space Center. So Kennedy was way, way more than I was expecting. I thought one building, and a tour, right? 5 hours should be good. Umm no. Try more like 10 buildings, 2 Imax movies, a tour that takes like an hour and takes you to another building exhibit in the middle of that. It's expensive too. Glad we went though. Touching a moon rock.

Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Cookies and Powdered Sugar. Well, I thought i'd be a nice guy and bake some cookies for my wife. While I knew full well how to bake cookies, I was caught completely unawares as to what would happen if you dropped a bucket of powdered sugar. Well, I'm proud to say that I now know. And while it is not included in the pictures, we found powdered sugar over 10 feet away from ground zero.It was an amazing explosion of powdery sweet goodness. Links to this post. We have taken lots of pictures of him, which I should have put on here, but haven't had the time. Holland doesn't like when I am on the computer, so I have a hard time finding time to get on here. What's new with the Stevens? Monday, June 1, 2015. We made a trip down to Scottsdale to visit Dave and Sheila and also hang in the heat with some friends. Turns out the Swanteks, Leptichs, and James all made the trip down - and both Kruse families were already down there! Luckily it wasn't super hot - so some runs were conquered. Getting some miles in on the McDowells. The ladies hanging at happy hour. We went over the the Kruses one evening for happy hour and a tour of the 10th hole. Which sundae to get?
