Wednesday, April 30, 2008. After Vienna, we flew into Tel Aviv. Ben Gurion airport was really cool. Everything in it was enormous. I was rather impressed that my luggage followed me all the way accross the world - especially considering that it didn't from Rochester to SLC. We arrived in Jerusalem at 3:30 in the morning. Tuesday, June 3, 2008. All right first of all everyone needs to get off of my back. I haven't exactly had access to a computer for a couple of weeks so the whole blogging thing gets tricky, but I promised pictures of Egypt so I'll get these up first. This is the wilderness of Zin, this is where the children of Israel wandered and also where Lehi and his family would have traveled through on their way to the red sea. Not my ideal camping spot, but whatever works. The Entrance of the Luxor Temple.

Friday, June 13, 2008. I can't believe that it is almost time to come home. Time has sort of lost its meaning. There are some definite aspects that I am really ready to leave behind - like the school work - but I don't feel that I got my fill of the Old City. However, when we got back to Jerusalem we took a field. Trip that took us underneath the city where they have excavated parts of the original temple wall, Herodian. Streets, and pieces.
