Remember when feminism used to be about women? A space to share our joy. Andrea Dworkin died on this day in 2005. She is missed. Her presence made a huge difference to many women and to the feminist movement. If you haven’t come across much of her work, I recommend ‘Letters from a War Zone’ as an introduction many of her most rousing speeches are in there. All of her work is online here. She was a woman who believed in women believed in our bodily integrity, in our courage, in our need for safety and love.
