Monday, March 8, 2010. Better late than never. Well it has been a month since our friends moved out, but here they are on the day they left. they moved to england. time to start enjoying our house with just the two of us again. We really enjoyed them staying, but there is something extra nice not having people staying with you. Saturday, March 6, 2010. Add a couple more pics from the home show. That finally isnt necessarily for long gap in blogging, but moreover for getting a backyard. we have gone a long 16 months with nothing but dirty dirt or muddy mud in the back. we are about half way through the installation of the backyard. this first blog is going to be the progression up to yesterday, and later will be the rest and completed backyard. All of this started last monday, january 31, and has been progressing nicely. Here come the pictures. Mom and pop blog.

It was a hectic day today. as i was pulling into the parking lot at school i get a call from taylor saying that mindy was hurt. i didnt even stop, i just turned around and headed home. it turned out to be a broken leg, a costly one at that. taylor was picking her up and she was squirming and fell awkwardly on the concrete. She is spending the night at the vet tonight and is going to have surgery tomorrow morning. pray that everything goes well. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Fixing, painting, and yes, moving in! Before the 30 trips to Home Depot, hours of painting, pipes breaking, cleaning, packing, moving, and settling in. We're so thankful. and still are. :). I love my husband.he is a cute dork! What a happy little painter (or maybe a messy one)! I think the shirt says it all. This was the end of weekend 1- yes, we're still smiling. Before we painted, we primed the walls. Jenny painted the bathroom, spare room, and the kitchen. She was amazing! Room with Gary and Jake.

My dear friend Cindy found out a while back that I had 11 bridesmaids in my wedding (What can I say, I love my friends! Anyway, she joked that if she knew me when I was getting married that she would be my 12 th. Bridesmaid. Sadly, last Thursday was Cindy's last time at our Life Group because she is off to Nursing school starting Wed. in L.A. So as a good bye present I made her a card with her face attached.
