Up the Nose Tube to Monkey Trash: March 2012
http://petemullins.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 1, 2012. This was done over a year ago as a part of an overall concept proposal. It was felt that a comic book feel would best convey the background story. Links to this post. Our inclusive home: Down the garden path
http://inclusivehome.blogspot.com/2010/01/down-garden-path.html
Creating a an ordinary, inclusive, accessible family home in suburban Brisbane. Can't be that hard - can it . Down the garden path. There's something beguiling about a shady path, wherever it leads to. We love paths. We're not keen on steps. Our path in 2010 is leading to our new home. It's currently an old timber house on one side of a big block of land. Upstairs is the living accommodation; downstairs used to be stables. We've got big plans for those stables . Up the Nose Tube to Monkey Trash: September 2011
http://petemullins.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 7, 2011. It has been months since I've posted.ouch. I've been playing around with a camera stabiliser for the Canon 550D. Initially it didn't work very well. I discovered that the 550 was simply too light for the stabiliser. After adding some extra weight to the camera end of things, it seems to perform much better. This is the stabiliser I ended up buying:. Http:/ www.b-hague.co.uk/hague dslr motion cam camera steadicam stabilizer.htm. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Up the Nose Tube to Monkey Trash: The Lion's Den
http://petemullins.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-lions-den.html
Wednesday, August 22, 2012. This was an openerrere. This was an opener for a special on Brisbane's local AFL team 'The Lions'. I think it was broadcast nationally a few months back on the 7 network. Now, I'm not much of a sports fan and I know absolutely nothing about AFL. Luckily my son started playing footy this year so (being the enthusiastic dad) I've had a crash course on the ins and outs of Australian Rules. Can't say I'm any closer to understanding it. Up the Nose Tube to Monkey Trash: July 2012
http://petemullins.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Saturday, July 7, 2012. Here's a job I did late last year. It was an opener as well as some graphics for Discovery's 'Animal Planet'. The basic premise was a series of documentary episodes showing mainly security camera footage of different animals making a break for it. It seemed to have a fairly light-hearted approach at its core so I thought some cute 2D animation might be appropriate. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Darling Wife's blog. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. More life drawings.I rarely get time to draw much these days. These life drawing sessions are basically it. Sometimes I am so much happier with the 5 minute jobs than with the more labored 20 minute studies. This model had a real 'Jose Gonzalez' look to her. There was something about her face that reminded me of the old black and white Vampirella comics. I didn't really capture it in my sketches, though. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Our inclusive home: March 2010
http://inclusivehome.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Creating a an ordinary, inclusive, accessible family home in suburban Brisbane. Can't be that hard - can it . Council passed the development approval without changing anything - as they should because everything complied with local guidelines. The engineer has sent his invoice, so I guess his job is done :) The builder is rarin' to go. And there's just the building approval to get, which I'm told isn't a drama. We're getting closer . But I have been a bit preoccupied creating this with Tina and Sue:.

Our inclusive home: I wish ... building codes complied with universal design
http://inclusivehome.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-wish-building-codes-complied-with.html
Creating a an ordinary, inclusive, accessible family home in suburban Brisbane. Can't be that hard - can it . I wish . building codes complied with universal design. Had a preliminary meeting today arranged by our architects with a certifier and engineer to discuss the best (as in fastest) way to progress our housing plans with the local council. We identified some key challenges and worked out an action plan along with a contingency plan, which I suspect will become the action plan. But I wish I when I ...
