Sunday, March 29, 2015. Friday afternoon Steve took the afternoon off to clean and organize the garage.this guy has been DYING to clean his garage for weeks. So I was happy that he could get it done! That night we didn't do much, I was willing to let the girls stay up late, but they were both grouchy and just wanted to fight all night so they went to be normal time. However, Piper decided that 6:15 was an appropriate time to get up Saturday morning, WTF? And Presley was up by 7:30. Are you kidding me?

Sunday, December 28, 2014. Saturday we headed over to Earlham for Steve's family Christmas. It's always nice to head out there since we don't see his family nearly enough. The girls got some great presents! Seems like they got exactly what they wanted. Piper laying on her doll house from Uncle Matt. Ava and Presley got a ton of Frozen stuff from Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jerry. I love that they get along so well! I'm glad we only have 2 Christmas's a year! Monday, July 27, 2015. Thursday I had my monthly (or every-other-monthly) work outing. The weather was HOT but we braved the heat and sat on the patio at El Bait Shop. As always, it was good.SO many laughs! Friday we didn't do much. Steve did take them on a walk after dinner (while I took a very short cat nap) but it's so hot out that no one really wants to be outside for too long. I made it a quick trip b/c I knew that time was not going to be on my side but it worked out! Ryan, Janelle, Kayson and Cora.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015. I heard about two suicides at Urbandale Middle School in the last week. So sad! Then I heard it was 12 and 14 year old girls and it brought tears to my eyes! I just can't imagine what was SO bad, that this was their way out. Knowing that Presley overdramatizes EVERYTHING, just makes me hope that we can teach her differently. I just can't imagine. A girl from Ankeny is part of the top 24 on American Idol! Yes, it is the time of year and I'm still dedicated to watching it!
