Maggie at One Week | What The Kids Did

What The Kids Did. First Year in Fargo. Maggie at One Week. October 17, 2010. Margaret (Maggie) Huynh Mayfield. 8221; We tried to reassure that everything was going to be okay, but she did cry a lot the morning Galen and I had to leave for the hospital. To treat the jaundice. I hated that blanket. She was supposed to wear it all the time: when she nursed and slept. But it was awkward and cumbersome. It was hard to pick her up in it and nursing her was impossible. OBX or Bust | What The Kids Did

https://whatthekidsdid.wordpress.com/2009/08/31/obx-or-bust

What The Kids Did. August 31, 2009. Galen and I have never considered ourselves to be “beach people.” The last time we actually went to the beach for a vacation was about three years ago, and we did not have the best time. Our hotel was located right on the beach and we had a beautiful ocean view. Finally AND she enjoyed it. We stopped off at Williamsburg on the way home, Galen’s favorite place in the United States, I believe. We had lunch at the Kings Arms Tavern. The Last Days of Summer. You are commen...

Rummage Sale in My Head: October 2011

http://rummagesaleinmyhead.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Rummage Sale in My Head. Sunday, October 23, 2011. Several episodes in my life today have appeared to me as movie trailers where I've too often said, Yes, I'd like to see that. So it was with the long cord that I saw on the floor and envisioned myself tripping over, and with the hot coffee I envisioned spilling on the important electronics. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Rummage Sale in My Head. Sunday, August 28, 2011. Rummaging Again . . . It's been over 2 years since I posted here, and in the spirit of my "Reforms of 2011" Act, in which I pledged to mail all birthday cards before the actual birthdays (and even possibly to arrive before the actual birthdays), I will start Rummaging again periodically. Starting slow, I will reflect this morning on Hurricane Irene and my preparations. Preparations involved making sure I had. A flashlight and charged-up technologies.

http://rummagesaleinmyhead.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html

Rummage Sale in My Head. Saturday, August 22, 2009. Now Then, About My Welsh Walkabout. I spent a glorious part of my UK time hiking the Pembrokeshire Coast Trail in southern Wales. It is the island's only national park on the coast, which I found surprising. Still, what else could beat this 190-mile trail, overlooking the St. George's and Bristol Channels, to the Celtic Sea, to the Atlantic Ocean? Most times though, the trail hovered at the edge of the cliffs looking out onto the water. This spectacular...

Rummage Sale in My Head. Thursday, January 31, 2013. Unexpected Beauty, Fraternal Twins. These are two of the most beautiful and expressive walls I've ever seen. I came across this in a funky neighborhood in Philadelphia. It was right next door to an art gallery, but there was no comparison. I came across this in Seattle. It smelled wonderful too, unlike most alleys. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). The city that voted 97% Obama. Read the blog, baby! View my complete profile. What a bunch of clowns.

What the kimchi???

A blog about life in the Land of the Morning Calm . and the Afternoon Confusion. Thursday, June 25, 2015. Oops, I posted this on the wrong blog. It should have been posted here. Tonight I watched "Kite". I had never heard of it before, or the anime that came before it. It started off gory enough. I found out the impetus of the main character quickly enough. Samuel Jackson is in it! The film has a gritty look to it. Gangs running the streets. Lots of violence. Damn, a dildo gun! Ok It just got a bit better.
