http://oldfieldadventures.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Life with the Oldfields. Wednesday, December 27, 2006. A friend of ours from church works for the town's very posh "Old Course Hotel" and was given free tickets to a Boxing Day black-tie Gala and invited us along. Not only did we get to spend the evening dressed to the nines with a fabulous dinner but we were also given an AWESOME deal to stay over-night in the hotel! The next morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast with an incredible view of the Old Course and the West Sands. If you look closely, you ...

Just some thoughts on this, that, and the other thing. Monday, May 26, 2008. Lest Thou Forget - 'Days Of Praise' Devotional by HMM. Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons." (Deuteronomy 4:9). In the haunting words of Rudyard Kipling, we surely need to pray: "Lord God of hosts, be with us yet; lest we forget, lest we forget.".

http://meigsmum.blogspot.com/2007/05/still-in-mourning.html

Yep, still in mourning over the loss of my Tuesday evening happiness, meaning the Gilmore Girls television series of course. Besides the dumping of the show that put KTLA Channel 5 on the map of major non-cable networks along with ABC, NBC, and CBS, they didn't even make a big deal out of it's death! I may just have to ignore the "CW" altogether for a while just out of respect for the dead cuz, really, "Oy!

Life with the Oldfields. Thursday, May 31, 2007. Three times in one day. I wonder what might be going through your mind right now as you read the title of this post. Of course, I'm referring to going to three church services last Sunday, what else? Anyway, it is a fantastic song that really defines the amazing power of the cross. The words are brilliant:. OH, TO SEE THE DAWN. Of the darkest day:. Christ on the road to Calvary. Tried by sinful men,. Torn and beaten, then. Nailed to a cross of wood. Well, ...
