Exploring History in Style. Archive for June, 2011. June 28, 2011. I wore this a couple of weeks ago, just as the weather was getting warmer. I’ve been ok about remembering to take outfit pics lately, but I’ve been trying to focus more on what I really need, which is more time with my family now that school is done. This last weekend the hubs and I even bought tennis rackets and went to our local public courts twice! Jeans: Old Navy ($12). Cardi: Zara via Marshall’s (OLD). Belt: from H&M dress. So, I pre...

We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future. - George Bernard Shaw. LAC uncovers document more precious than gold! I'm glad the Olympics are over. I was sick of hearing about how poorly Canadian athletes were fairing and I was/am sick of hearing how the Canadian government should give more money to sports and Olympic aspiring athletes. Deserving of funding than athletes. Between LAC and the National Archives of Australia. While the playbill is ultimately...

Exploring History in Style. Laquo; Rockin’ at Work. June 2, 2011. I was feeling summer like the Greek islands the other day. Of course, I was foiled and it rained all day, but at least I was still humming summer breezes in my own head and imagining picnics that end with baklava:. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Exploring History in Style. Laquo; Grad Fab! Summer has finally arrived. June 13, 2011. I cannot be more excited! It took forever to reach the Bay Area this year and after four years here I’m still always surprised by how cold it still gets at night in the summer (the midwest humidy temps last long into the dark). So, feeling bright:. Blouse and Belt: NY and Co. Pillows: made by me! Table: family hand-me-down, sanded and painted by me and the hubs. Wow, what a vibrant colour! It does suit you very much!

Exploring History in Style. Archive for April, 2011. Older Entries ». April 26, 2011. Tried for simple chic with a stretched-out sweater:. Jeggings: Old Navy ($11). Black blouse: JC Penney (OLD, est. $5). Pearls: Puerto Rico souvenier. Shoes: Aerosoles via DSW. So, not sure yet what I think. I liked the colors, but maybe it’s time to let the unflattering, stretched-out sweater go. I look like a gained weight instead of lost! I was trying to mimic the fun chic look done by the-other-emily. April 26, 2011.

We are made wise not by the recollection of our past, but by the responsibility for our future. - George Bernard Shaw. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. I saw the movie on the weekend and it was well worth getting to bed at 3am as a result. It was amazing, a really great way to end the movie franchise. I thought it provided closure for the books, too; up until now, I hadn't fully believed that J.K. Rowling was not actually. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Welcome to my blog! Extending Your...

Just Another Fish in the Sea. The stuff i like (and that everyone else likes, too). Posted October 29, 2011 by anotherfishinthesea in Uncategorized. Tonight I am babysitting (curse the life of a teacher and a grad student who are married and permanently broke), but tomorrow I’m getting together with friends for pumpkin carving, wine and lots of talk. Its the carrot on the stick for me. What are your plans for the weekend? Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).
