Auch dieses Jahr war das Team Drift David wieder mit am Start. Bei der Ankunft am Donnerstag Nachmittag am Hockenheimring, goss es in Strömen. Schnell wurde alles aufgebaut und Freitagmorgen ging es dann mit strahlendem Sonnenschein zur Qualifikation. Hier erreichte ich eine gute 52. Position von 70 Startern. Da das Wettrüsten auch in der Driftchallenge nicht halt macht und der 190er das schwächste Auto im Feld war, sind wir mehr als zufrieden. Des weiteren ist der Reifenhersteller Pirelli mit an Bord.

Pirelli ist neuer Reifen- Partner. Driftrennen gehen sehr auf die Pneus! Darum ist es sehr wichtig hier einen sehr guten Reifen zu verwenden. Ein Partner, der sogar die Formel 1 ausrüstet, ist natürlich 1ste Wahl. Ich bin sehr stolz, das Pirelli ein Teil vom Team ist. Infos unter www.pirelli.de. Race4Friends veranstaltet einmal im Jahr eine Benefitsveranstaltung auf dem Nürburgring. Wir waren 2012 das erste mal mit am Start. Bei Race4Friends geht es darum Körperlich und Geistig eingeschränkten Menschen eine Freude zu machen. Wir sind ettliche Runden Renntaxi gefahren und meine Beifahrer hatten einen riesen Spaß. Auch sind wir einige Kurven quer gefahren. Auch dieses Jahr sind wir wieder am Start und freuen uns sehr auf die Veranstaltung!

Wheelchair Mobility Improvement and Living with Spinal Cord Injury
Living with Spinal Cord Injury. Charlie “Mr. Mobility” Croteau has taught wheelchair mobility for over twenty years on the Spinal Cord Injury Unit at Boston University Hospital. He has also taught at Northeastern University, Simmons College, Massachusetts General Hospital, Notre Dame College, University of New Hampshire, and a host of others. He has written a handbook. Teaching wheelchair mobility, and has produced a video on wheelchair mobility. And another video on living with spinal cord injury.
