Thursday, July 21, 2011. DAY 289/365 THIRTY POUNDS. Again with the computer. For too many days in a row, it wouldn't let me connect with the internet. So today my friend Annie Pie and I headed out to the doctor's at about 7:30 AM , after waking up at 6. I'd certainly read about 6 AM but hadn't seen it for myself in quite a while. Pie, as usual, looked great and I was a bit fluffed up myself. My doctor said she was proud of me and told me to keep up the good work. What a rush! Tuesday, July 12, 2011.

Saturday, July 9, 2011. There is, to my knowledge, no animal on the face of our earth more social than elephants. In the wild, They live together as a herd with a pretty sophisticated hierarchy of leadership. They raise the babies together , watch out for each other and grieve when one of the herd dies.
