Brand design, naming, and campaign development. Rise is business that provides short-term loans for people with credit problems. The goal of our communications was to empower our audience, give them the confidence to be financially responsible and own-up to their debt. The naming and branding that my writing partner and I created for Rise was eventually refined into television commercials and other media. The whimsical tone of these ads makes the prospect of borrowing short-term cash seem less daunting.

Jim created Mr. Green. From the ground up a business that sells well designed, fashionable golf apparel. The brand needed to convey something different than the all-to-serious companies in the golf marketplace do. So an imaginary man named Mr. Green was created; a self-proclaimed style curator and authority on how to properly dress for golf. Brand and Website design. LifeMates is a dating service, and they have a website, but LifeMates is not an online dating site like Match.com or eHarmony. The communication had the potential to be confusing for the consumer so it was important to convey what kind of service LifeMates offers especially since their website is the main portal for new customer acquisition. Instead of having lots of pages, this design used a continuous scroll to reduce the likelihood of a user clicking away from the site.

While at Weiss Stagliano Partners, New York, I had the opportunity to work on one of the greatest brands ever, Guinness. I was instrumental in developing the platform Guinness Refreshes Your Spirit . Quite a departure for a beer brand. The successful campaign shed a new light on Guinness which was previously thought of as a dark ominous beverage.
