Jenn And The City: Wednesday
http://fast-dogs.blogspot.com/2009/04/wednesday.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. It will be a quiet day at Jenn And The City. Wednesday is house-cleaning day. And drawing day. And I may try to market some more articles. I need to find rocks for my herb garden and get the herbs in, as well as put in sunflowers and my wildflower garden. A quiet, pleasant, domestic sort of day. Posted by Jenn And The City. When a Problem Comes Along, You Must Whippet. One of the best kinds of days! Can you do some gardening here? April 29, 2009 at 1:20 PM. Jenn And The City.

Jenn And The City: Oda to Hoda
http://fast-dogs.blogspot.com/2009/04/oda-to-hoda.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Okay, so I'm on Facebook. Me and most of the rest of the world. Facebook allows you to keep in touch with people you know and select to be your "friends". I'm apparently not very popular, cuz I only have 105 "friends", most of whom I barely know, but that's okay. We both also love a great glass of wine. It's eleven o'clock somewhere. PS - click the "Pink Ribbons" box on this blog to support mammograms for women in need. Posted by Jenn And The City. April 29, 2009 at 3:34 PM.

Sunday, March 22, 2009. Anyone out there want to help me out and give me some writing subjects? You give me subject, I write a blog about it. Instant cure for the dreaded WB! Posted by Jenn And The City. Links to this post. 5 Your two cents. As The Bunny Turns. I'm no better off this morning than I was last night - I still have horrific writer's block and I still have nothing to say. Of course, anyone looking for "profound" probably isn't a regular reader of this blog anyway. Posted by Jenn And The City.

Jenn And The City: November 2008
http://fast-dogs.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 24, 2008. I have at least a masters degree in Thanksgiving. Granted I've only played hostess twice, but I love this holiday. If I'm at home and in charge, it is one of my favorites. Food, football, and family. And a moment in time when it isn't mushy or weird to actually be grateful for things we should be grateful for, but usually we're too busy spiraling through life at warp speed to stop and think. I am not obsessive-compulsive, but for Thanksgiving I keep notes and directions. I ...

Saturday, January 31, 2009. I Just Don't Get It.Sorry. Now consider. Just for a moment. I blog, I tweet, I'm on Facebook. I work in an industry that likes to think it's more high tech than it is, in a city that IS more high tech than it should be, thanks to some guys called Bill and Paul. I keep up with the news, and I'm relatively intelligent (except for Sudoku, there you got me). But there's some stuff out there that I see, sometimes regularly, that I just don't get. Nope, don't get that one. Exhibit C...

Jenn And The City: April 2008
http://fast-dogs.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. I think I mentioned in some previous post that our building management subscribes to daily news video feeds in each of the elevators. Each corner contains a small monitor that gives me something to stare at during the daily triskaidekaphobic trip to the 16th (15th) floor. Usually I learn something relevant about the weather in Riga, Latvia, the cost of a rickshaw ride in Bangladesh, or who got voted off American Idol this week. I have QUESTIONS about this, people! One thing I a...

Jenn And The City: Herb Horrors and Tomato Trauma
http://fast-dogs.blogspot.com/2009/05/herb-horrors-and-tomato-trauma.html
Saturday, May 2, 2009. Herb Horrors and Tomato Trauma. Friday dawned beautiful and sunny here North of the Space Needle. Yet, despite my Thursday trek to Fred Meyer to purchase seedling herbs, baby patio tomatoes, peppers and enough dirt to create my own mountain range, my thumb was not green. I tried guilt, which usually works. “If you don’t plant them, they will die. That will be wasteful.” This tactic just succeeded in making me all stressed out about my lack of motivation. Jenn And The City: December 2008

Saturday, December 27, 2008. Surviving the Duct Tape Wars. Somehow I find that not only did I fail math, I also failed to acquire the duct tape gene. I can’t even find the duct tape department at Wal-Mart without help. The scene wherein I gamely attempted to participate in the tape-wrap battle ended rather badly indeed, Curiousity didn’t kill Stan, but it did get him semi-permanently affixed to Nick’s present. So here is my salute to the gift bag. Thank you 3M. Posted by Jenn And The City. Click here for...
