Artfully Domestic: PINK!
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2010/08/pink.html
Monday, August 30, 2010. I finally started working on Olivia's baby blanket this weekend, and I think the project somehow miraculously jolted me out of my couch potato/hopelessly-bored/when's-my-next-nap phase into my nesting/crafting/project-crazed phase. I have two more projects that I want to get done, and I'm sure many more will make their way into my mommy-agenda within the next 6 weeks or so before she's due. I used the fabric that I bought in New York. More glorious Anna Maria. I am a wife and a m...

Artfully Domestic: December 2011
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 29, 2011. I went to a baby shower this week, and made these treasures for the mom-to-be. This is the "circus elephant" from More Softies Only A Mother Could Love. Isn't he a cutie? He's a skinny elephant :). And this cozy swaddling blanket with a hand-stitched "Y" for their last name will be the perfect fit for a boy or a girl, since they don't know yet what they're having. This adorable flannel animal print is sooo soft! Links to this post. Labels: arts and crafts. Joy To The World!

Artfully Domestic: Winnie the Pooh & Tigger Too!
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2012/05/winnie-pooh-tigger-too.html
Sunday, May 27, 2012. Winnie the Pooh and Tigger Too! My little man turns 3 on Monday, and we celebrated today with family. and Winnie the Pooh. I used a box cake this year to make a four layer yellow pound cake with chocolate fudge frosting, drizzled honey and sliced strawberries between the layers. And I tried my hand at fondant for the first time. We had lots of yummy food. Some fun with silly string. And of course presents. Which piqued the interest of little cousin Noah. Happy Birthday my sweet boy!

Artfully Domestic: Little Stitches
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2013/01/little-stitches.html
Friday, January 25, 2013. Long time, no see! Thought I'd pop in to share my latest projects. It's baby season and I've been busy! This blanket is a sweet patchwork that I put together for my sister-in-law who is expecting in March. It's their first girl! I just love the vintage/contemporary feel of these sweet patterns next to each other. And for my little one due in April, I decided to do something a little different. For our other two kids, I have made patchwork blankets (you can see Olivia's here.

Artfully Domestic: Nesting, Perhaps? Baby Crafting Craze
http://artdomestic.blogspot.com/2013/04/nesting-perhaps-baby-crafting-craze.html
Sunday, April 14, 2013. This little beauty is MY. NEW. FAVORITE! I've sort of gone off on a crazy last-minute nesting spree, which involves a lot of baby crafting. I found this pattern here. It was a quick, one-day project, and it absolutely could not be any cuter! Love, love love! Aren't these sweet little bow buttons the cutest? Found these hiding in my stash. See, it's not hoarding if you do eventually use them one day, right? Check her out if you've never seen her work.). For a full-coverage nursing ...
