Sleeting, freezing Florida to see Venita and family and to be volunteers at Disney World's Half Marathon on Saturday morning! We got up at 3:30am to get there by 4:30am. We were at water station #6 :o) There were 17,102 finishers on our race! There was Sarah, Tim, Gordon and I. We were layered up to the gills! There was a huge rock slide on I-70 which closed up the freeway for awhile and we didn't want to take 2 big moving trucks over the 200 mile 2 lane detour! Boy was I HAPPY to see them :o).

Oct 16, 2015. From Butrint we had to head back to Saranda, to catch "some" bus going to Blue Eye - “Syri i kaltër” (spot, where an underground ice cold river reaches the ground level, cca 50m deep). I’ve seen videos of people jumping into the water, but you definitely don’t want to do that especially (unless you want to get a heart attack) when the air temperature is 40°C. The town is really beautiful with tons of little cute café’s and restaurants and good food! I had the best Baklava of my life there!
