Where are the Stablers? Hiking the Appalachian Trail. Vernon Church Hostel to Greenwood Lake, NY. 129 miles today, mile marker 1365.5. We took an impromptu zero day yesterday to rest sore feet and make sure Caroline’s allergic reaction to her bug bites was ok. Several of her bites had swollen up and blistered, but Benadryl and steroids reduced the reaction over the course of the day as we watched a few movies on VHS and took it easy. Caroline on Prospect Rock, the highest point on the AT in New York.

Delhi Dallying

Sunday, February 3, 2013. Some people take up knitting or cross-stitching while awaiting the arrival of their little one. Apparently, I make photo books! This is a photo book (finally) from our trekking trip to Nepal last April. Sunday, September 2, 2012. You don't have to have a green thumb to have green plants in Delhi, and that's a good thing for us. Since moving to our new apartment we have a wonderful balcony, a wonderful gardener. and PLANTS! The "before" photo: No plants! It's a jungle out there.
