I turned 60 on Lipsi. We all had a great day cycling the island, swimming and tasting some very passable Greek sparkling with my birthday dinner at Dalaila's Taverna, a lone taverna on Katsadia Bay overlooking the sheltered anchorage. Very special spot. THE VERY YOGIC 'DECANTING DIESEL' POSE. ANNE'S BROTHER DOUG ARRIVES.

Morgen, op 15 december komt de verhuiswagen met de boedel, dus willen we nog iets doen aan dat smerig gruwelijke onsmakelijke snot eendenkak licht mintgroen in de woonkamer, dan is nu de tijd. Op het laatste moment in de winkel is de witte mono-deck ingeruild voor een midi-ocre, een zacht oranjegeel. Heel handig: er is hier een rol plastic te koop met aan één kant een plakrand, zodat je makkelijk je vloer schoon houdt.

From A. eh, Almere to Almeria. Sunday, 1 January 2017. We hebben dus een houtkachel, in de "snug" room een meter boven de keuken en een meter beneden de woonkamer. Heel gezellig, maar ook tochtig. Zeker als je nog niet héél handig bent met het aansteken van houtvuurtjes. We have a wood stove, in the "snug" room, a meter above kitchen level, and a meter below the living room. Very cozy, but also quite draughty. Especially if you're not experienced in making a wood fire. Zo'n vuurtje kost wel een uurtje.
