Tales of the day to day lives of Dan, Julie, and Emma. Saturday, July 4, 2009. We had a relaxing holiday. Just hanging out at the old homestead. Not doing anything. It was great. We barbecued. For dinner, made ice cream clowns/ monkeys. Blobs, sang happy birthday dear America and then headed up to Dixon to watch the fireworks with our friends the Bairs. We fought traffic for about 10 seconds on the way home from the sun flower field where we parked. It was awesome! 160;Never light firecrackers.

Monday, December 21, 2009. Landon had his first piano recital. Xander was of course thrilled that he had to be a part of yet another one. We had it a retirement community. No funny stuff this year. All the tenant were well behaved. Landon told me in the car afterwards that he heard someone say "Wow, he's really good," while he was playing. I think I heard it too, NOT! He is soo funny. We've moved and are now just 6 minutes and 22 seconds from the McKay building on BYU campus (that is from our front door to the door of the building as timed by me - Greg).
