Monday, September 23, 2013. Yearning for Another Helping of Potatoes August 22-26. Popping in at the North Cascades Visitor Center. In Newhalem, Washington. To see our tax dollars at work I went out and hiked the "Rock Shelter". Trail to view a historic site where Native Americans. Have cooked their hunted goat and worked their wool for over 1300 years. Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Parking in Utah, Rocking in Idaho. I could say much about Utah. But I won't say much now because I will have much more to say in the future. But I don't want anyone to lose site of the fact that I had a great first week there in Park City. My hosts, who happened to be my good buddy Tom. And his wife Chloe. Were incredibly gracious hosts. Chloe's pregnancy precluded her from participating, but that didn't stop Tommy from introducing me to some of Park City's finest MTB trails.

Tuesday, October 15, 2013. From Wild Horses to Wild Landscape- Sept 12-15. You might not realize it, but even today you can still be find free roaming wild horses in the southwestern corner of Wyoming. After learning this I decided to chase down some of those wild horses outside the town of Rock Springs. If you are traveling and don't have a GPS, just look for Pilot Butte. 7,932') which has been an excellent marker for people traveling through the area for centuries. Who supposedly got the name Butch.
