A year less ordinary. What, Why, When? How Are You Raising the Money? Since I get asked this question so often, I thought I'd devote a page to it. I'm paying for my gap year on my own and it's through a number of means. I've had a job since I was 15 and have always saved any money I didn't need to spend. Save, save save! A year less ordinary. What, Why, When? Friday, 10 June 2011. Woke up with a sore throat/cold. Taught 2 lessons at 7:40am in the morning to cover for another sick teacher.
