http://sdownhillphotolog.blogspot.com/2008/03/spring-on-rogue.html
8220;Not everybody trusts paintings but people believe photographs.”. Wednesday, March 26, 2008. Spring on the Rogue. I'm so thrilled my mother-in-law, Linda, invited Emily and I to join her and some of her friends on a photo shoot in the Rogue River Canyon on Monday. We had a blast and it did us all a lot of good to get out in the fresh air. Even in the rain.and I think actually because. Of the rain.everything was so fresh and new. Shari Downhill Blog: February 2008
http://sharidownhill.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 6, 2008. Beyond the “Pen”…. Most of us define who we are by what we do. That makes sense to me since that’s the interface we have with others and the world. However, I also realize the two aren’t inextricably linked. “What we do” is only a descriptor, an onramp, an invitation to others to “come into our parlor” and get acquainted with us. So, welcome to my parlor…. What I do…. The last time I remember shedding tears in front of a keyboard was in my “ Beginning Reporting. 8221; class a...

Epiphany Innovation: Free Radicals of Innovation!
http://sharidownhillsbm.blogspot.com/2008/03/free-radicals-of-innovation.html
Sunday, March 16, 2008. Free Radicals of Innovation! I just finished navigating Bob Newhart's. Free Radicals of Innovation. DVD I'll tell ya, after three years and $40K for a Masters degree in Adult Education (which was worth it, I have no doubt.) I'm in a particular good position to say that I think Newhart's Free Radicals. Should be a prerequisite for any Adult Education university program. Newhart is currently the director of the Oregon Innovation Center. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Shari Downhill Blog: Platform Resolutions for Writers 2010
http://sharidownhill.blogspot.com/2010/08/platform-resolutions-for-writers-2010.html
Thursday, August 26, 2010. Platform Resolutions for Writers 2010. Before writers establish an author platform, they typically establish a writer platform. Over the past decade, thousands of writers have parlayed established influence into traditional book deals. Landing a traditional book deal is still an effective way to exponentially increase your credibility and visibility. 1 Develop a platform topic that you love and can work on tirelessly for the next few years. Your passion of the moment should...

Friday, May 21, 2010. Where have you gone Dr. Seuss? Four words that rankle me…“There is no hope.”. Too many people; Too much pollution; Not enough time; Too much greed; Too much…Too little…Too much…Too little…On and on like a pendulum it goes. Oh Dr Seuss, where are you when I need you? 8220; Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple. 8221; Seuss chortles in my ear. Then something happens to get my attention, to pull me out of my early morning depressed stupor. In my face. I...

Saturday, December 20, 2008. A Critique of Keynesian Economics. Can I just say right now that I adore John Nash? I'm embarrassed to say that before I watched "A Beautiful Mind". I had no idea who Nash was. And, until our current recessionary woes, I also had never heard of Keynesian Economics. Well, I have now. The following is an excerpt from a piece (presentation, class materials, etc.) Nash has on file via his faculty website at Princeton. Of financial enterprises domestic to the state. It is difficul...
