We are both trained storm spotters and as technology evolves weather and news stations still look to trained storm spotters as the first line of defense. Our week with Chris as he took the time off so we could explore the remote world of the water and woods between Canada and the US. It is a place well worth exploring! We made it to Lake Superior (great lake #4! Our Palace for the Night. We were the only ones there for a while and were only joined by some fellow Labrador lovers, so the pups got in some extra pets as well.

We arrived minutes after my parents and Grandma had rolled in all the way from Colorado and got to hug and laugh over the fact that the travelers had met with family from FL and CO in a place we've never been in. We stayed in the Billings KOA along the banks of the Yellowstone River. It sounds a bit nicer than it actually was. Manner as a guy blasted "Low Rider" on his Harley stereo.
