Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Lucky me.I got in to see the 10m synchronized. Diving gold medal final today and needless to say it was pretty damn cool. The Chinese divers are absolutely amazing and it was really cool to watch them win their gold medals (they were favorites) in front of their fellow country men/women. Every time. Forget finding places like Fat Tire Farm or River City Bikes, how about something simply set up on the sidewalk. You need a tube? They have one. You need a lock? They have that too. Brake repairs? Wednesday, May 15, 2013. Mothers Day climbing trip. My mom and some of her friends love to climb so for Mother's Day weekend we headed to Smith Rock to play in the sun and try to do some climbing! We had all sorts of fun riding and camping in the van, climbing on the rocks and most of all playing in the river (you gotta cool down somehow right? Saturday, June 29, 2013. Berry picking - round 1. Strawberry picking requires some serious teamwork. Caitlyn learned this the hard way. after claiming she could pull the wagon herself ("I can do it myself"). she quickly figured out she actually did need my help. you should have seen how far we pushed that wagon! The berry patch was the far end of the farm but it didn't slow us down a bit. plus we got to re-fuel with berries when we got there :). And what would a trip to the farm be without a hay ride!
