Thursday, 13 February 2014. CKC 2012 Agility Stats. The Canadian Kennel Club just released their agility statistics for 2012. They had to rework the points system, so it was a little behind schedule. I was very excited when I checked out the page and realized Strider placed 5th in Canada! He also was the #2 Herding breed and #1 Sheltie in Canada as well. What a nice surprise! Friday, 13 June 2014. A few more Brags. I have a few more brags from the Ace/Spryte puppies. Last weekend Susan and "Cricket" competed in a CKC Rally trial and earned their Rally Advanced titles with TWO High in Class wins. I'm told Cricket loves to heel and has wonderful attention heeling. She is also a bit like her momma Spryte, barking with enthusiasm during her rally runs. She just can't contain her love of working. She even picked up enough points for her first two flyball titles! Sunday, 29 December 2013. Spark is 12 weeks old. Spark turned 12 weeks old yesterday! She received her second set of vaccinations on Tuesday and we got the green light to start more serious socialization. Spark has also now attended two agility events. Friday, 10 April 2015. Spark is now 18 months old. In the dog world that means she is now old enough to compete in agility trials. We celebrated her coming of age by entering two agility trials back to back. The UKI Western Spring cup and a CKC agility trial the following weekend. Our CKC trial debut was equally successful with Spark qualifying in all her runs and earning her Novice Agility and Novice Jumpers titles.
