Thursday, July 9, 2015. Breakfast in (Little) America. Greetings from the middle of f'ing nowhere, Wyoming! With a few days off, and my traveling days just ahead of me, I figured I'd take the opportunity to a trial run of the lifestyle. Make up Little America, the transient commune who's former claim to fame was operating the world's largest gas station. Little America has served me well. A place I sleep, restroom facilities, wifi, and some good people watching. Alas, it's time to move on.

Spent most of the day navigating the twists and turns of the Going to the Sun Highway. The road snakes through the Rocky Mountains and over the Continental Divide. After a peaceful night sleep at the Bryce Canyon Best Western.parking lot, I took off early, initially with the goal of being at Zion National Park within a few hours. Along the way, I called an audible and continued south to see the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Sure, it's an extra hour of driving, but when's the next time I'll be in the area? Monday, August 10, 2015. Bighorn Sheep and Tilted Sleep. Greetings from East Glacier! The one lane road meandered through rolling hills, resided by cows and horses, some of which determined to get in my way. After a steep rock scramble, I arrived at the glacier. As another week passes, and my goal of being a full time Fit Camper sits (temporarily) on the back burner, I experienced a spark of motivation this afternoon. It was clear that a good amount of thought and time was spent in this design, as opposed to my sleeping arrangement, a single foam pad haphazardly arranged diagonally with a blanket. I don't know for sure. But I do know I gotta get me one of those cots. Safe travels, and have fun!
