We select local produce because the provenance of the food we use and the ethics of our suppliers really matter to us. A new name for Creme De Menthe - Polo. It is very satisfying rearing your own meat, even more so when the end product is meat that literally melts in your mouth.

South Pool Veg Shed - The Millbrook Inn

The last remaining village store disappeared from South Pool more than ten years ago. Our Veg shed is a practical way of reintroducing fresh produce to purchase in the village. It is constantly stocked with the same source of produce which we use in our kitchen and in season is suplemented by the gardens of our local residents. An honesty box means that the shed is open 24 hours a day and local sausages, bacon and much more can also be brought from our chilled section.

We like our live music at The Millbrook. In fact we would go so far to say that a pub without live music is a pub without soul. Like a good pint of Ale and a good plate of food live music here is every bit as vital.
